Where did it go?

WOW it seems like just yesterday i was walking into TMS with my shoulder sling bookbag and tommy hilfiger tank top thinking i was the coolest 6th grader ever. The last three years have gone by in literally a flash. wow. i still vividly remember the anticipation i harbored inside me on the first day of school last year. 8th grade went by so fast which i can say that at times that was a good thing. but hey i guess as we get older we have a better idea of time and how fast or slow it goes by.
its hard to believe that in less than a month i will be walking through the doors of THS as a STUDENT not a visitor or for a basket ball game. it seems like he last 14 years of my life have gone by in the blink of an eye.
my mind is spinning thinking that Middle school went by so fast and had so much heartache and drama. then epople always have told me that High School goes by faster and that there is more drama and heart ache than Middle school, like Middle school is like preheating the oven and highschool is the full on cooker! AGH i am scared for the next for years of my life, i'm not ready for high school, i dont know if i can handle it.

the Patmos Post

Last week at camp was so incredibly amazing i can hardly describe it. in one word i would say it was "Moving" each day i looked forward to the chapel services. the speaker PD was amazing and e had a really unique and great way of keeping me attentive and pulled in. he was funny but his messages were powerful and meaningful. each chapel service had me walking away with so much more than i had come with. this year at camp i didnt make any HUGE decisions like i had last year at banished but it was still powerful and meaningful, if not more than it was at banished. over the last year as some of you might know i have had some doubts of salvation and i was never completely able to relax and think "i'm okay" but after thursday's talk about GUBA i can take a breather and praise God for my salvation! well i'm going to cut it short. Leann got back from france last night and today we have a "Catching up" session.
Much Love

PS: Please Pray for my grandma, while we were at camp her shoulder got dislocated, but they fixed it but then yesterday she fell again and it popped back out, she'd not doind real well. thanks again.

I POST AGAIN

Wednsday: I went to youth group and then after wards Rosie and I spent the night at Emily's house and we found out that Five Iron Frenxy werent wearing their own pants.... "These are not my pants... whose pants are they anyway? are they... tylers or marks or will's or bens?" ROSIE AND EMILY I LOVE YOU TWO! we watched the Audio Adrenaline Concert DVD from Alive 2003, one year before i went. then we had story time with Beckie... hah i will never forget that... SURFER DUDE! lol wow. after that we watched Hangman's Curse while eating basically half of the box of Ice pops. hah. "yea, though i walk through the McDonalds drive through i will fear no fry, for these are not my pants" wow wow wow. hahahaha. finally we went to bed around 4:00 am, which would mean that i should technically put this under "thursday"
Thursday: we woke up and we ate lemon poppyseed muffins, at 10:31 haha i am a bad daughter, lol. i went to my grandma's house and spent the day there with her and then also the night, it was nice to get to spend time with my grandma and grandpa. one time though that night ty called over there and asked to talk to me and my grandpa said "uhm, she's hanging from the ceiling by her feet" and i think she believed him, Grandpa is a reall goofball. i slept in their library thing and it was full of crazy old books that smelled like something off of a farm, it was nasty but the books were like classics and i attempted to read one but, hah it smelled so bad from age that i couldnt finish a page.
Friday: well, i woke up and spent more time with my grandma and grandpa then came home for an hour, talked to rosie on the phone then headed to ty's birthday party with Emily, Beckie and Rosie. NO I AM NOT GOING TO LOCK AUDIO ADRENALINE IN CAGES IN MY BASEMENT WITH THEIR WIVES. dont ask... its a long story. Ty's party was a blast! we had a crazy water balloon toss that laster only about 5 minutes then we went inside and then back outside again to play flashlight tag. we got soaked to the core when it started raining so we made the best of it and went into the church parking lot beside ty's house and we sang camp songs in the rain and just had a great time getting completely soaked, it was so much fun... "All God's children singing glory, glory, hallelujah, he RAINS" haha BeckyGohlke was my partner for flashlight tag and we were crazy insane. we went inside and got dried off and for the most part settled down... until about 11:00 when we reached extreme heights of slap hapiness, "H" lmnop, grass, "ashley, your face is so scary" i have found a hilarious hero, ASHLEY BLASDEL! haha. woow!
Saturday: well i went home from ty's and then i packed my bags for camp, took a shower and headed to OLV for church with my family. there was a missionary speaker from uganda and he had a crazy sounding accent and the whole audience was stifling laughs while he spoke because he was rambling on and every so often he would say "UGANDA" really loudly and the church would like laugh, it was amusing. then i relived my childhood when i got home by watching Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory (the original version) while eating Gobstoppers and nerds, Wonks candy. it was fun!
Sunday: possibly the hottest day i have ever lived. lol except possibly Switchfoot day last year at Alive. i got up this morning and went to church with Emily and i saw everyone there and it was funny. ATTN: BECKIE KOZY "Kind Of" that was amazing! after church was over i went to my cousin birthday party at Wingfoot park. that was not really my idea of complete fun. the one girl wo is my age is not very friendly to me and the most we said to each other was "hi" and we talked a little bit about where we bought clothes at. her little sister Caitlin who is only 6 was sitting alone while every one was having a water gun and she looked so sad and lonely i went over and talked to her. she was afraid of the water guns so i asked her what she wanted to do and she had wanted to got mini golfing so i was going to take her to do taht but her mom was going to take the whole family later on, so i went over to a play ground with her, not exactly my first choice of fun but it was nice to see her having fun and not looking so sad and lonely. in the car my mom and i got into an argument and that turned my day rotten, then when i got home i came back to a nice message left by kristen Adams (thanks, so much it made my day better to know that you took time to call) and that made my day. well now i have been hanging around here just getting completely pumped for camp.

i am 100 percent completely psyched for camp this week!

well i'll post again when i get back from camp.

how do i say this?

this car is probably one of the ugliest yet coolest cars ever, it has no AC (air condition) and no FM (radio) and also... NO REGRETS! hah. if you dont know why i am posting about a 1977 chevette then you need to go look at the Audio Adrenaline Website and listen to the song called "Chevette" and then i think you will know.

well to put it easily... here is what the song says.
"CHEVETTE" by audio a, off of "Some Kind Of Zombie" 1997
twenty years ago i watched in awe as my dad drove up teh driveway
more than proud to have a brand new family car
thirty miles to the Gallon and, 0 to 60 sometimes.
i remember putting down the back seat and lying in the hatchback
looking at the sky watching trees go by
i was the son of a preacher and he was a rich, poor man.

No AC
No FM
and No Regrets
in my Chevette
yeah,
in my Chevette

the winter cracked the highway and we tried to dodge the potholes
he never promised us it would be a gentle ride
he never had a problem though, keeping it on the narrow road.

yeah, so as the lead singer said ...that the car symbolized one thing, the fact that his family was poor in the things of this world but they were rich in the things that mattered, tey were rich in the things of God. **

**that was a take off of what Mark said in the DVD. woo well i have decided that because i like Audio A so much that each week (Lord Willing) i will make one post with lyrics from one of their songs. i hope you dont care too much.
