Free Ride

okay so yeah since no one ever reads my blog or comments... which makes me sad, i am not gonna post the answers to the cheesy "jokes" instead i am gonna post the lyrics to a song by Audio Adrenaline called "free Ride" i do believe though that it is a remake of an old song... but i'm not sure... yes thats right... i, Brittany Rhodes do not know something about Audio Adrenaline. okay well here are those lyrics...

"Free Ride"- Audio Adrenaline
The mountains are high
The valleys are low
And you're confused on which way to go
I know there's someone who'll give you a hand
And lead you into the promised land
Come on and take a free ride
Come on and get by my side
Come on and take a free ride
All over the country I've seen it the same.
Nobody's winning at this type of game
They got to do better they got to take aim
All of the answers are coming from Him
Come on and take a free ride
Come on and get by my side
Come on and take a free ride
Come on
Come on and take a free ride
Come on and get by my side
Come on and take a free ride
Come on and take a free ride (8x)
okay well that is off of their 1996 album, Bloom and yeah i like it alot. so yes please comment... dude since no one ever comments me i bet that i i were to ask for 30 random comments like Liz did i probably wouldnt get them as quick as she did, but i'm not asking for 30 comments... i'm just asking for some comments because my comment box is awfully LONELY... so please comment.. the only person who has commented me lately has been Bobby... thanks... but everyone else too please comment!!!!!!!! hehe it can be random i dont really care just fill my comment box with love... hehe please?

HAHA TIME TO GET HEALTHIER

we get little worksheets in math with REALLY CHEESY JOKES and they are soo funny they're cheesy... er... so cheesy they're funny. haha

why did the little girl paint spots on the staircase?

what do you call a 36-inch two by four?

whom should you see at the bank if you need to borrow money?

why does a poor man drink coffee?

why did gyro go into the bakery?

why did the cow want a divorce?

what did the ape think of the grapes house?

why does croquet need rules?

okay so heres the deal you try and figure the answers out so while coming up with your answers but EMILY is NOT allowed to answer because she has the worksheets and DO NOT ASK HER. i will post the answers later! okay well good luck and like i said some of them are soo cheesy you just have to laugh!!!!

SEPTEMBER 11... This is a serious post

I is hard to believe that 5 years has passed since the 9/11 attacks. I mean wow I can remember the day like it was yesterday. I was just a meek little 9 year old in fourth grade at Munroe. It was recess and we were all clueless, although I had heard bits and pieces of conversations about airplanes. We came back in the classroom and my teacher, Ms. Breon was talking to Mrs. House, the psycho teacher beside our room. Ms. Breon came in the room and said "come sit down here I have something important to tell you all." so we all gathered in the carpet and she asked us "do any of you know what the Twin Towers are?" and I think maybe only like 2 or 3 people knew what they were and she said "well some bad people from another country flew airplanes into them this morning and they fell down" okay, well I don't think that's exactly how she worded it but it was along those lines. Ididn't really comprehend what had happened because as a fourth grader New York seems like worlds away. That night when I got home from school my mom explained to me again what had happened and I saw the on the news the towers falling down and thinking "wow that's horrible" I was still not completely comprehending what had happened but when I found out that all those people had died I was so sad for them and I started to cry. Later on that day Leann and I were outside in our backyards on her swing set talking about it and she knew more about it than me and understood it better so she explained it a little more to me. I will never forget that day. Time has flown by since then and I am surprised I can remember that day so vividly. Well that's all for now...
comment and let me know your thought on the attacks, I want to know where you were when it happened.

well I'll post again later, hopefully with a happier topic.

HEHE...HAHA...HOHO...TEE HEE HEE

Did you know that laughing is good for your health? Its proven to send feel good chemicals to some place in your body and it makes you healthier! And apparently, your body doesn't know if you're faking it... So apparently you can fake laughter and it will still make you healthier!

man... Am I glad I laugh a lot!

Cold, Wet and NO MORE PASTA

Task 1:
get from point A to point B. for me and Kristen, point a was the Adams' house and point B was Kristen Adams' car on dallas Ave. we were pretty good at finding it we did although run into one mishap... we went in a circle on accident and it turns out that if we wouldnt have turned onto marigold we wouuld have been at the car sooner. once we did get there we found these things out: team members: Kristen, me, Jen, Andy Taxi driver: Kristen Adams The Taxi: The Adams' van
Task 2:
the one person challenge! the one person? ME yes me! haha well the clue was to search several blocks in the area and i was so scared since i had never been there before in my life so i was freaking out. there was no way i was going to walk around by myself... but when we got to the actual task i was relieved to see the wood blocks lying in the grass. wow yes i finished that one quickly and i was proud of myself, i normally am not good at fining things like that.
Task 3:
NO. MORE. PASTA. case closed... Parassons... surely by nwo you have heard about this challenge and if you havent then you're probably better off not knowing, it was sickly, i ate like half my body weight in pasta... sure it was parassons and yummy and all but EW.we were so sick after that challenge but Pastor came through and provided TUMS... haha no refreshments!
OVERNIGHTER AT THE KEYS' HOUSE
that was possibly the funnest thing ever, aside from the whole collective race. our team had to leave the house at 9:08 am and actually i was surprised about how easy that was... but hey what can i say? i was with my favorite people in the world! THE BSBC YOUTH GROUP!!!!!
Task 4:
McKinley Memorial... steps...106...geese...lost...1 hour...canton..gas station... losers! yeah we got up the steps easily and itw as alright but the isssue was after that,,, we were lost and driving around for an hour looking for the doughboy...
WHO KNEW THE DOUGHBOY WAS A SOLDIER? i was looking for a pillsbury shop! our youth leaders are very educated people!
Task 5:
dough boy... not much to say... we got there.. took the picture... and precede to task 6.
Task 6:
we arrived at the hike as one other group was fiinishing it... yeah we were pretty far behind. The hike was deadly... oh man it was painful but OH SO MUCH FUN. wow the hike would have been really beautiful if i would have been able to stop and enjoy Gods creation, but because we were in a race we had to hurry up and get through it... needless to say my legs felt like jellybut hey, ya know, it was worth it... thw hole time i was telling myself "if you finish this you will get to go up on stage during Audio Adrenaline" and do you know what? ... IT WASNT WORTH IT...yes you eard me correctly, it WAS NOT WORTH IT. haha but, oui, it was fun!
Task 7:
yes the MALL hah we looked like a bunch of hobos walking into the mall all muddy and wet, but it was funny to see people look at us all wierd! the picture both was small... so small.
Task 8:
HAPPY DAYS, HAPPY DAYS, HAPPY DALE... never mind. so yeah you all know the task... a hike that really didnt need to be a hike.... oh man but we did the hike, let me tell you Beckie and i were not happy youth groupers while enduring that hike, Vlint was getting screamed at the whole time although he couldnt hear us... "if two youth groupers are yelling at the youth leader but he didnt hear then did they really yell?"-- Clint. the answer is YES. so yeah we found carl and spet 25 minutes decipheringt the bible verse. then headed off down the WRONG trail and ended up in the octagon parking lot, LOST. i had hurt my ankle but luckily it is better now. we were walking down a road to nowhere hen we met up with another team and we kept on walking down the road until james and Bobby came to our rescue in the church van, thank goodness! i dont think my feet would endure that much more walking.
finish line:
we came in last place... we were cold, wet, injured (to an extent), tired and i was sad.
McDonalds:
Thanks to a cappuccino and a warm, dry donation by Bobby i became warm in the fast food restaurant best known for grease... MCDONALDS, haha yes, we were cold so we stopped at McDonalds to warm up and eat because we were all hungry too.
HOME-SLEEP-CHURCH PICNIC
i came home, took a bath, relaxed, watched Hangman's Curse with my bestest friend... LEANN GRACE! then talked to people and slept!

wow the church picnic was so much fun! the baseball game was fun even though i was awful, watermelon speed sitting contest... haha...was fun i didnt get one single seed in my cup... GO ME! the bubble gum blowing contest made me laugh like no other... i was terrible. the pie eating i gladly did not take part in ! haha wow just too much happened and it was way too much fun! and that is why...

I LOVE BROWN STREET BAPTIST CHURCH AND THE PEOPLE THERE!!!!!!!!

thanks for reading, i know it was long but i had a fun weekend!
